In 2000, Gaffin Associates recognised a ‘niche’ in the UK market to produce a new generation of assessment products based on the measurement of business related behavioural competencies. With funding from the Department of Trade & Industry for research & development, the first assessment products were launched in 2003.

Studies

The validation studies were undertaken by Hull University’s Department of Psychology under the direction of Dr Peter Clough. The first study was based on sales and customer service behaviour.
A further study relating to leadership behaviour for managerial, technical and professional occupations was completed in 2008.
